Brat - Stage 3 - CeeBee-6-Fiddy

Making sidecovers. They will be black.

Brat - Stage 2 - CeeBee-6-Fiddy

Tail end has been attacked. The rear guard fought me the whole way. I drilled a hole in it and the chrome flaked off. I ended using the CL450 rear guard I had lying around. It was trimmed down to remove a rust patch.  I have other things to now change on the Brat CeeBee-6-Fiddy.

Brat - Stage 1 - CeeBee-6-Fiddy

First steps of Brat are done. Big shout out to Liam Butler of Butler's Customs and Race Racers for making the seat. He is a true garage artist. A true gentleman. He builds sweet rides. I did not want major chopping done to the frame. So the rear frame loop/hump stayed. Most cut this off.  The seat mounting brackets have been removed. A new seat base crafted.  That huge tail light is coming off. It looks like the docking bay of the USS Enterprise from Star Trek.

Brat Style. "Brat styles usually have only minor frame modifications. (shorten)  a thinner flatter seat installed, most have adopted the black rims,  and I have seen all kinds of crazy handle bar options." http://www.bratstyle.com/  A shop in Japan that gave the world this name and style. Its got a cult following. I love it. I took the CeeBee to Liam Butler of @butlerscustomsandcaferacers  Look him up on Instagram. This is Liam's own GN250. He let me take it for a blat. What a hoot.  He does great work. He is a true Garage Artist. Liam starting the Brat process. The CeeBee is staying with Liam for a week while he hand crafts a Brat Style seat for me.  Then that horrible tail light that looks like the docking bay of the Enterprise from Star Trek will come off. I have a nice period Lucas type tail light to mount.

Comrade 3 wheeler....

Today Jan and I had the pleasure of riding a Ural Outfit. We did around 320kms in it.

Little things ... CeeBee-6-Fiddy

Little things can make a big difference. Small black blinkers. Black Handle bars. Bar end mirror (This is till I pay for and pick up some round ones.) The bike came with a spare seat. Looks like the original seat. The foam has had some shaving done to it. I prefer the look of this seat than the one that my bum came home on yesterday.
